Top 5 Secret Tricks To Boost Up Your Slow Computer




Note : Before performing these steps make sure you have administrator rights. 

Method 1: Using External USB (Ready Boost)

In this System booster method, you will have to use external Pendrive to
speed up our computer. So, you have to use Pendrive or USB memory on
your system as a RAM.

Steps to Boost Up Your system using Ready Boost

1. Insert USB or Pendrive in your PC port.
2. Right click on Pen Drive in Computer and open properties.

3. Now select ReadyBoost button in properties.
4. Check the “use this drive” radio button there.

5. Now choose the memory that you want to allocate to the system for use.
6. Now click apply the OK.
That’s it! now that USB will work as your external RAM.

Note: Your system will be boosted and it will be using your Pendrive as a RAM until you have inserted into your Computer.

Method 2: Using Memory Cleaner Batch File (System Booster

This Memory cleaner batch file will automatically clear all the cache and temp files.
  1.  Open Notepad and then paste the following code into it.
  2. Save the notepad file as cleaner.bat. Save the file on desktop and now double click to run the .bat file to clear Memory.
%windir%\system32\rundll32.exe advapi32.dll,ProcessIdleTasks

Warning: Editing system files can damage your system. Please copy code correctly as it is.

Method 3: Cleaning Temporary Files

In this method, you will have to clean temporary files in your computer.
Steps to Clean Temporary files in your system:-

Step 1. Click start and type “%temp%” (without quotes) and press enter. Now a list of temporary files will open.
Step 2. Now press CTRL+A and then Shift+Del buttons of your keyboard. Now
select yes.

By this, all your temporary files will be deleted and your system will get
boosted.

Method 4: Putting A Brake On Windows Startup Services

In this method, you will have to use run command to stop loading unnecessary windows services to load during startup. This one will not only give your PC a fast startup moreover, it will also help your computer to run much
faster.

Steps To Stop Unnecessary Windows Startup Services:-  

Step 1. Open Run Command by searching in your Computer’s Start Menu. Or you can simply press Windows key+R at a time to open RUN Command. Type “Msconfig” and hit enter.

Step 2. Now Browse to Startup tab, And unselect or Disable all that you feel are unnecessary to load at your Windows Startup and click on Ok.
 It will ask you to restart your computer to make changes. Reboot it and you will see a fast startup with increased computer speed.

Method 5. Using Task Manager

Step 1. Press [Ctrl]+[Alt]+[Del] to bring up the Windows Security screen. Which will provide you five options, you need to click on Task Manager.
Step 2. Once you select Task Manager it will show you all Running applications under “Application Tab". You need to select the “Processes tab" which is located just beside Application tab. You will see all the running process there and also the amount of memory they are consuming.
Step 3. You need to look for the processes which are taking lots of memory, right-click on it and click on “End Process”.

That’s it! you can end processes that are consuming lot of memory which
can boost up your system’s speed in no time.

How To Take Backup & Restore of Registry (Registry Editor) in Windows


The Windows Registry is a hierarchical database that stores low-level settings for the Microsoft Windows operating system and for applications that opt to use the registry. The kernel, device drivers, services, Security Accounts Manager, and user interface can all use the registry. The registry also allows access to counters for profiling system performance.

During the usage of the software or the hardware, the changes made to these configurations are updated in the registry. Also, the changes made to Control Panel settings, file associations, Windows components and so on, during the use of the computer, are updated in the registry.


We must take backup of registry editor before makes any changes. and to prevent any affect in registry due to Various factors such as orphan keys, holes in the registry, duplicate keys, wrong shutdown etc, are the major reasons behind Windows registry errors and other flaws in a computer.

Steps to take backup of registry

Step 1:

Type Regedit , Right click and click on Run as administrator


Step 2:

Now Registry editor will be opened. Go on File Tab , Click on Export.

 Step 3:

Now its will ask to Location & Name to Save Backup file. (As shown in picture)
From here you can save it.

Steps To Restore Registry Backup File

Same as mentioned in above Step 1 will be remain same.
From Step 2, We have to Click on Import and Select the Backup File and click on OK.
Registry backup will be restored.

How To Change Processsor Name in Your Computer

Today we will be learn how to change your processor name. As of now there is too many processor series introduced by iNTEL & other. like Core Duo, i3, i5, i7 etc. They all come in  generations like  3rd, 4th, 5th 6th, 7th and current latest geeration is 8th.

So we are coming on the point that how to show your old processor name as a new processor while you are working with old one.


This is trick by which you can change your processor name and show to your friend that you are using a high end configration system.

Note : To perform this step we have required Admin right for that system.


Step 1:

i. Open Registry editor by typing "regedit"
ii. Right click on regedit & click on Run as administrator.

Step 3: 

Go on below path :
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\hardware\DISCRIPTION\SYSTEM
\CENTRALPROCESSOR\0\


Step 4:


Double click on Processor name , and change it accordingly.
